Owen sat and watched as the young champion was presented before them and his stomach churned, his family was nearby and he heard all their cheers for the new celebrity and all he felt was compassion for the young girl. To have made it out of the games with your life was amazing, to do it without the stain of others was near impossible. Yet he knew the girl would have her own wounds to deal with seeing as how her own brother had been taken from her so that she could win. Sighing he clapped when others did so that he would appear to be normal though this whole idea of cheering for the surviving children of a bloodbath made him sick.
He turned away and saw one of the past victors, Bennett maybe and saw that he didn't appear any happier. Owen wasn't sure but he figured he might be remembering his own victory parade and wasn't sure if the man was happy for the reminder or if he wanted to leave as much as he did. A pink haired woman appeared next to Bennett and took hold of his arm and he saw a smile grace the man's features. So it was true Bennett the Victor from Eleven had indeed married a Capitol Citizen and was allowed to call the capitol home, though was still eligible to be reaped again depending on the rules of the quell. Owen hoped for their sake that nothing like that happened.

Riley watched from a distance, this year was a little harder than the last few and he didn't want to be near the cameras, though he knew they would find him sooner or later. He focused on the event before him and kept a neutral look on his face, clapping when others did and when people approached and commented on how he was a favorite of theirs he thanked them politely. He noticed the stares from a few who didn't want to approach and he nodded to them. It wasn't until he felt the calming presence of his wife that he smiled just a simple touch from her had him smiling. "Thanks, I needed that. What took you so long?" He asked seeing as how she had to leave his side earlier for some undisclosed reason. He wasn't even sure if his Capitol family was all in attendance but at that moment it didn't matter, she was there with him. @harper

"Becca had a wardrobe malfunction so we had to change her hair at the last minute. Sorry babe." Harper explained with a roll of her eyes. She hated having to be away from him when it came to game related things. Normally she didn't get a chance because she generally was with the victors or tributes right up until everything started, but it was the thought that counted. "How are you holding up? do we need to out early?" Her voice was barely a whisper as she leaned over to hug him. No one needed to know how uncomfortable he was besides her. It would be detrimental to his standing with the capital and they didn't need that at all. "' @riley
