"Don't bother calling," Cord said, her voice casual as she sat on the edge of his bed, pulling her stockings back on her legs, "If I want to do this again, you'll know," she finished, turning back to the sleeping guy and kissing the tips of her pointer and middle finger, putting them to his lips and sending a little shock through him as she did so. She giggled, slipping her feet into her shoes and leaving him behind. It was a wild night, that much was sure. She glanced in the mirror on her way out, making sure her hair was nice and wild and her eyeliner thick. She walked down the streets of the capital, a walk some would call the 'walk of shame' but she could really care less about that. She winked at boys and girls alike as she walked by, not really caring what people thought of her. Her first stop was home, a quick shower with her hair in a cap as to not get wet, reapplying the make up and a new outfit later, she was back out the door. Her first stop was coffee. She found a place at the coffee shop, having a seat and putting her feet up on the chair across from her. What games would she get to play today?

Riley came into the coffee shop and noticed that his dear sister in law Cord was there, smiling he walked over after paying for his coffee and sat in the chair beside her feet. "Cord. Lovely to see you up and about this early. How are you doing today?" He said smiling at her, though they were far from close he always tried to be polite when they were in public. He had always gotten the feeling that she was a little upset that he had become part of her family. Though he had made sure to make sure he kept trying, for better or worse Cord was Harper's sister.

Her brother in law sat down beside her, addressing her like the little pretty boy he was. She tolled her eyes. "Ri, wassup," she said, lowering her sunglasses for a moment to give him a little nod and then replacing them back on her face. She couldn't believe that her sister had married someone from the districts, especially from a District so far beneath the capital. Eleven. The Peace family dripped class and this guy was simply a little farmer-or whatever the hell that district did. Still, he had been a pretty decent guy. Not that Cord usually associated with decent guys. "Stalking me?" she joked.

Taking in her appearance he gathered that she had been out late last night, but then again that was normal here in the Capitol and even after all these years that was still something he wasn't quite used to. "Nothing much I just finished a run and thought after getting cleaned up I would go and grab a coffee for Harper and I." He took a sip of his coffee and then continued, "Plans changed a little though once I saw you sitting here, I thought it would be nice to chat a little. Though I do have to say I am sorry to disappoint you stalking you wasn't in my plans for this week, I could schedule that for midnight next Thursday though if you would like?" He said poking fun at her comment, he had no desire to see which man's bed she was in at any given time.

Coffee for Harper and himself. The oh-so-sweet husband. If Cord were ever to get married, yeah right, she'd want someone with a little intrigue, a little gumption, maybe even a little poly-amorous. She wouldn't want to be tied down to one person, after all. Riley, it seemed, was just the perfect little man, wasn't he?
"Ah, midnight next Thursday I'm rather busy," she commented with a little shrug, 'got plans with a hot chef from the Presidents kitchen. He's about your age, I think," she smirked wickedly at him.
"Isn't Harper expecting you?"

Riley looked at Cord carefully as she spoke, he wasn't sure if she was playing with him or wanting him to comment on her bedmates age. He decided to ignore that when she spoke about Harper smiling he said, "She is." He stated simply then added, "However I am pretty sure she would be more interested in hearing how you and I are getting along, or at least trying to seeing as how I get the feeling even after all these years you still don't approve of me." Smiling he took a sip of his coffee calmly not really worried about her answer knowing that whatever she said he could be ready for it. Smiling he added, "I do hope you have a pleasant time with that man, I am not sure if he and I would be a fit comparison other than our age to be honest." He smirked trying to see if he could get her to stumble a little.

Cord rolled her eyes once again. She had a habit of doing that, especially around her family members. Especially around Harper. She loved her, of course, but she was such a little goodie good, especially after meeting and marrying Riley. Cord had to admit he was a hottie, maybe even flirted with him a few times pre marriage, but she could never have gone as far as to marry someone from the districts.
"I don't approve of many things, Riles," she said, deciding that was a good enough explanation. As he called her out on the chef, Cord raised an eyebrow at him, "Well, you're both good looking, that's something you have in common. Plus, if you're skills match his well," she laughed, lifting her drink to take a long sip, "there's another."
