PERSONALITY ► Materialistic, vain, shallow. Everything that a capital girl should be. Harper met this disruption most of her life, up until she became a beautician for the hunger games. At first she didn't quite care about the young men and women who went through the team she was put with, up until a nice guy from district eleven showed up in her third year of working the games. Quickly befriending Riley, her entire world began to change.

Now Harper tends to be a little more down to earth and self aware, even if she is still her bubbly and hyper self still. She doesn't enjoy the games as much, but other than that she tends to still fit the basic capital mold whenever she isn't with Riley. Luckily, he's around most of the time to keep her on the right path.

Harper has the ability to manipulate her hair. This includes changing its color, length, and style. The changes are instantaneous, but changing it too many times can wear her out. Generally she can change her hair about five times a day without an issue. Extended use can cause headache, fatigue, and weird or messy hair. For example her hair may only partially change to its new intended state, or it could be a duller, more frizzy version of what she was looking for. In extreme cases her hair will revert to its natural state, though this is rare and unlikely to happen as she generally stops before she gets to that point.

HISTORY ► For a capital citizen, Harper's early life was fairly normal. Her life was filled with parties and clothes, pretty makeup and trends that made her head spin. Luckily for her, her power allowed Harper to blend in perfectly with the rest of the freak show. Being able to manipulate your hair at will was like a dream come true, especially when it came time for the games. It was her mix between traditional and exotic styles that caught the eye of one of the tribute escorts, landing her a job in with the games at the age of 18. Not that she really considers it a job. Like, who wouldn't want to play with people's hair all day long?

Everything began to take on a brand new meaning a few years after she started her job. A younger man from district eleven found his way in to her chair, scared but determined. Over the course of the few weeks they spent together, Harper managed to fall in love with Riley. After he won the games, she found herself drawn back to the new victor, and married him as soon as he asked. After their marriage, Harper found herself becoming more down to earth and less inclined to like the games. She still works with the tributes, but more to give them a final friend than because she enjoys the work. Someday she hopes to meet her husbands family, even though her in laws seem to hate her for the most part. Then again, they have been happily married without his father's blessing, so Harper tends not to dwell on it and chooses to focus on Riley and their life instead.
