PERSONALITY ► Accaila is every bit of the ice princess her power makes her out to be. Normally cold and distant, she has very few friends. This is mostly because the higher body temperatures of her classmates and relatives tends to make her uncomfortable. She spends most of her time in her room, trying to stay cool. All of this has left her a little bitter and lonely. She can't wait to be out of school and away from her parents' home and dreams of the day she can find someone to spend her time with. In this way she can be a bit of a hopeless romantic, though her realist tendencies generally remind her that she can't expect things like that to happen.

POWER NAME ► cryokinesis
POWER DESCRIPTION ► Spikes of ice and planes of slick, glass like frozen water are what Accaila specializes in. She can't throw things around, instead she must grow them from a surface. However, Accaila has gotten fairly fast at using the spikes to create spears. To do this she makes a long, thin spike and then breaks it off.

Cryokinesis has its drawbacks though. Ice cannot be maintained for long in close proximity to heat, in addition to making Accaila more vulnerable to fire related attacks. High temperatures also tend to make her feel sick or weak, due to her body temperature being naturally cool. In most situations Accaila can sustain her power for extended amounts of time, but the temperature is a factor in how long.

HISTORY ► Energy is hot, hotter than most people can even imagine. Even as a baby, before her powers manifested, Accaila couldn’t stand the heat wafting through the air in her home district. Her parents spent hours and days attempting to soothe her to no avail. Luckily her powers manifested early, letting the haggard young couple and the healers know what was wrong with their ailing daughter. Unfortunately, they were fairly poor and could not do much to help her. Once she could control her powers, she began to use a small crawl space underneath the house to serve as a sort of ice box. Cai practically lives there when she isn’t at school or socially forced to be elsewhere.
As for school, she’s an average student and always has been. The rooms make her uncomfortable and her schoolwork suffers because of it. Because of this, she tends to be a loner and refuses to make friends. If anything, she’d see being reaped as a relief. If she dies, then she doesn’t suffer anymore. If she wins, she’d have the means to be comfortable for the first time in her life. Either way, things are better than they are now.
