PERSONALITY ► Shane is a bit of a troublemaker and prankster. He enjoys messing around, and even the situations he grew up in and around haven't managed to stop his antics. However, he does have a limit to how far he's willing to push things. If the peace keepers are about to get involved, count him out. It's all about the fun, even if people some times do end up hurt. what do you expect, putting a pyro around all that flammable material? At the end of the day though, he is a loyal friend and a decent student. Even the life of the (nonexistent) party needs a crew, right?

POWER DESCRIPTION ► Pyrokinesis allows Shane to generate flames along his hands and arms. He can also throw small fire balls, but not at great distances. This allows him to be mostly heat resistant which is why he prefers to work with flammable materials.
Cold weather tends to dampen Shane’s powers and cause him to be sick as his body runs at a higher temperature. Power exhaustion causes him to feel cold and weak, which is also exasperated in bad weather. However, higher temperatures may give him a bit of a boost, especially if they are closer to the temperature of his own fire.

HISTORY ► The first thing Shane remembers is laughter. His father was always smiling or cracking jokes around him, especially right when he came in from work. The mines were a rough and tumble place, but somehow Carter found a way to light up the room as soon as he entered it. Whenever Shane finally began to talk, he followed in his father’s footsteps. The only way father and son differed was that Shane tended to be a little more mischievous, play pranks more than telling stories.
Upon entering the school system, Shane found the one thing he had been missing: a real, live audience. Now that he has people paying attention to him, the pranks are getting a little more complex and risky, but he wouldn’t have it any other way. Besides, with all the things to get people down in District Twelve, they need something to laugh at. Might as well be him.
