welcome to revenge is sweeter

Shortly after the emergence of Super Heroes in to modern society, tragedy struck. A mass extinction event brought on by nuclear warfare, which even the Supers were unable to prevent, caused the loss of all non-supers and left the world in chaos. The remaining world leaders band together to create the country of Panem. Under their guidance, the Districts were created with the center of the new world being the Capital. However, some citizens were not happy with the current living conditions. They were Heroes, after all.

Thirty one years ago, the districts rebelled against their saviors. The Capital did not take kindly to this uprising. Thirteen districts entered, and only twelve returned. As punishment for their disgrace, the Capital began the Hunger Games: a competition pitting the children of each district against each other in order to gain fame, riches, and most importantly, the right to live. Every year, twenty four young men and women enter the arenas, and only one will survive.

With the first Quarter Quell still fresh in their minds, the Citizens of Panem have no wish to revolt, and any talk of it is unheard of. Even the strong simply wish to survive another year. Though traditional heroes no longer exist, the superpowers are still prevalent in society, making the games ever changing and more intense each year. The Thirty-First annual Hunger Games is about to begin.

THE WEATHER FORECAST | the southern district are having a rather cool fall with a few rainy days and gusty winds from the north causing a chill to the wind that is rather irregular. the northern districts are experiencing a cooler fall than usual as well, having a few early snow showers and prospects for a harsh winter.

panem

	The Capital The Capitol is considered the center of Panem. It operates as the heart of the country, housing the government and main entertainment of the land, the Hunger Games. The citizens here live in excess and very few of them seemed fazed by the unfair treatment of the surrounding districts. Very few citizens in the Capitol have jobs. The ones that do generally work in the government, directly with the games, or own shops. Sub-boards: president stone's mansion, the training center, residential areas
	District One Because District One's main focus is producing luxury goods for the Capitol, they generally have a good relationship with the Capitol. District one is also considered one of the 'career districts'. The children in these districts train in special schools, without the permission of the Capitol, so that when thy turn 18 they can volunteer for the games. 	District Two District two is the largest and wealthiest district in Panem. Producing the masonry used for building, their' products are in high demand and they industry makes them strong. The children here also attend a special school that trains them for the Games. Because of their strength and the Capitol's trust in their industry, most of the recruitment for PeaceKeepers happens here, in district two as well as weapon manufacturing. 	District Three Being one of the poorest districts in Panem doesn't stop them from producing one of the most used items in all of Panem. District three specializes in technology with it's main exports are TVs and computers. The citizens of District Three are generally adept in engineering and other technological feats. Sub-boards: justice building, town square, victor's village, housing district
	District Four Located on the sea, District Four specializes in one of the more overlooked, get popular, products of the Capitol. Delicious crab, lobster, and any other type of seafood you can imagine is fished and produced here in District Four. The children in District Four are also considered careers, training in a special school even though that is illegal. Sub-boards: justice building, town square, victor's village, housing district
	District Five District Five is one of the closest Districts tot he Capitol. Because of this, their main industry revolves around power and energy. There is a large dam in this District that powers the Capitol and the rest of the Districts, although most of the power is directed to the Capitol and very few Districts constantly have power. Sub-boards: justice building, town square, victor's village, housing district
	District Six Moving between the districts and around the Capitol is a necessary industry, and it has been tasked to District Six. This District is not necessarily poor, but they are definitely not wealthy. Most of the citizens here live life day to day. Sub-boards: justice building, town square, victor's village, housing district
	District Seven This district specializes in lumber and the manufacturing of paper. Sub-boards: justice building, town square, victor's village, housing district
	District Eight Textiles are this district's main export. Uniforms for the peacekeepers are also made here. Sub-boards: justice building, town square, victor's village, housing district
	District Nine District Nine produces Panem's grain resources. Sub-boards: justice building, town square, victor's village, housing district
	District Ten This District specializes in the production of cattle. This includes the storage and creation of cattle embryos in order to meet the demands of the capital. Sub-boards: justice building, town square, victor's village, housing district
	District Eleven The vegetables, fruits, and other agricultural products not produced in other Districts come from the fields of District Eleven. Sub-boards: justice building, town square, victor's village, housing district
	District Twelve All mining resources are found in the mountains of District Twelve. However, their main resource is coal. Sub-boards: justice building, town square, victor's village, housing district
