PERSONALITY ► Lionel is generally a nice guy, but he can be a bit arrogant and cocky. Not in a totally bad way, although sometimes it probably rubs the wrong way with some. Most of the time, people will view it with good humor and see him as a goofy bloke. Unfortunately, he can be a bit too sure of himself and clash with others because of that.

He enjoys a good banter and a challenge, though he's not a hot-headed person so knows when to back down from a situation that's about to get ugly unless he feels justified in getting into an argument.

He's generally affectionate and passionate about his girl, and he's careful to be respectful and not controlling in their relationship. Though, sometimes he can be a bit too prideful, but he tries to be understanding of her at all times.

POWER DESCRIPTION ► so, lionel has the power of portal creation. this basically means that he can create portals and travel through them to get to his destination. basically, he wills for a portal to open up in front of him and then he just needs to walk in it, and then in flash he'll be where he wants to be. though, his portal can only teleport him to different places within the vicinity of the district, which means that it's limited to that fixed area. for example, he can't travel from one part of america to the other side. so far he only knows that it works locally.

GEORGE RICHARD GREY ► He is Lionel's father, though unfortunately, Lionel never got to meet him. He was a 17 year old who got Lionel's mother pregnant, as they were dating, but he was chosen as a tribute and died in the games.
ANNORA CECILY LAYNE ► This is Lionel's mother, who gave birth to him at age 17, having had him in a teen pregnancy. She loved him greatly and mourned the loss of her young lover, who was his father. Therefore, she cherishes him as the memory of his father lives on in him.
MILES BRIAN LAYNE ► This is Lionel's step-father, the man his mother Annora married some years later after his father's death. Miles is quite the kind father and family man to Lionel, and Lionel respects him.
LEONA JOANNE LAYNE ► This is Lionel's younger half-sister, who was born five years after he was. He is protective of and loves her, though he disapproves of her rebellious nature and is worried that she will be chosen for the games.
ROWENA LOUISE GREY ► Rowena is Lionel's wife and best friend. They were childhood friends and just grew to love each other, and he is thankful that neither of them were ever chosen as tribute for their district.

HISTORY ► Lionel was conceived in District 6 when two teenagers were in love and got lusty for one another. His mother, Annora Hastings, was 16 when she was pregnant. Unfortunately, his father never really got to raise him, for while his mother was pregnant, his father, who was 17, was chosen as tribute and died in the games. Annora gave birth to Lionel when she was 17 and raised him on her own with the help of her parents, and thankfully was never chosen as a tribute. When Lionel was four, his mother remarried to a man of the district, Miles Layne. He was a nice guy and treated Lionel well. He was mechanic and taught Lionel how to be one as well. When Lionel was five, his mother and Miles had a daughter named Leona, who Lionel loved very much.

Much to his mother's relief, he grew up not ever having been chosen as tribute. When he was 19, he discovered that he was in love with a childhood friend, Rowena. When they married, and ever since then she has been his loving wife and he is deeply in love with her still. Though, knowing his father's fate, he doesn't want to have children. Today he's a mechanic.
