PERSONALITY ► Lizzie is a strong young girl who finds herself working just as hard as the men, she is calm and collected when voicing her opinion but will not stand by if others are unable to voice their opinion. She is fiercely loyal to the only family she has left and would do anything to make sure her grandmother is doing well.

Caring and with a large heart she wants to make sure that others know they are not alone and that there would always be someone there for them. Despite this she is very keenly aware her name could be picked and she has hardened herself for what she may have to do.

POWER DESCRIPTION ► A great trait to have since she is from the fishing district. As far as Lizzie knows she can swim to any depth and breath fine and as she practices she can stay under water longer and longer each time. Though she can breath under any type of water she still is a human with the issue of human eyes so everything becomes distorted while she is underwater. As such it isn't a great gift to have if she wants to attack, it is better as a defensive measure when she is far enough away. Though she can attack well from under the water with this gift it doesn't allow for a truly silent attack once she leaves the water.

HISTORY ► Lizzie was always a feisty young girl who loved going out on the water with her parents. She was a fish out of water and whenever she got the chance she was swimming or playing when they didn't need to be working. All that changed when she was five years old. It was the one time they thought it was better that she stayed with her grandmother, a storm was going to be coming and they had to go get what they caught the day before, they never returned. Her grandmother would catch the young girl looking out over the horizon looking for them, hoping they would return to her.

Lizzie's grandmother worked hard trying to make sure they had enough to eat but as the years passed she was starting to feel her age catch up with her. When she wasn't in school she was helping in the shops near home or unloading the fishing vessels when they came back. As the years progressed she found she liked the hard work and it made her feel accomplished, though she is not afraid of the games themselves she is afraid of leaving her grandmother.

Though she works hard at the age of seventeen she has her name in the draw twelve times now as each year she has applied for a signal tesserae so that she and her grandmother would have even to get by on. It is a risk she knows but she would do anything to keep her grandmother with her even for a few more years.
